COMPOSITION :
Each 1 ml contains :
Fenbendazole 100 mg
PROPERTIES AND INDICATIONS :
REFEN 10% is a broad spectrum anthelmintic belonging to the group of benzimidazole applied for the control of mature and developing immature forms of nematodes (gastrointestinal roundworms and lung worms) and cestodes (tapeworms).
REFEN 10% is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal and respiratory worm infections and cestodes in calves, cattle, sheep and goats such as: Gastrointestinal roundworms : Bunostomum, Cooperia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus, Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia, Strongyloides, Trichuris and Trichostrongylus spp.
Lung worms: Dictyocaulus viviparus.
Tapeworms: Monieza spp.
REFEN 10% is indicated for the treatment the following parasites in horses: large strongyles (S. edentatus, S. equinus, S. vulgaris), small strongyles (Cyathostomum spp., Cylicocylus spp., Cylicostephanus spp., Triodontophorus spp.) and pinworms (Oxyuris equi).
REFEN 10% is also effective in treatment and control of encysted mucosal immature small strongylus larvae and against encysted inhibited small strongylus larvae in the mucosa.
REFEN 10% is indicated for the treatment of mature and immature stomach, intestinal and lung worms and eggs.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION :
Shake well before use.
Given orally by drench gun.
Safe during pregnancy.
Sheep and Goats : 5 ml / 100 kg body weight.
Calves, Cattle and Horses : 7.5 ml / 100 kg body weight.
The dose can be repeated after 14 days or after consulting the veterinarian.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD :
Cattle meat : 8 days . Cattle milk : 5 days
Sheep and goats meat : 15 days .
Sheep and goats milk : 7 days .
Should not be used in horses and calves for human consumption.
STORAGE : Store at temperature below 30°C .
BACKAGE: 1 Liter.
